The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) is the professional association for managers of membership clubs. With close to 7,000 members across all classifications, CMAA's manager members run more than 3,000 country, golf, city, athletic, faculty, yacht, town and military clubs. The Pelican Chapter is comprised of more than 50 members within Louisiana and Mississippi. We are a very active Chapter and meet regularly at a participating club in one of the two states.

Object of the Association

To promote and advance friendly relations between and among persons connected with the management of clubs and other associations of similar character. To encourage the education and advancement of its members and to assist club officers and members through their managers. To secure the utmost in efficient and successful operation.

Hosting a Pelican Chapter Meeting

Hosting a chapter meeting involves close coordination with the Chapter Secretary and the Chapter Education chairman. All social functions held at member clubs are to be billed at their direct cost (food, beverage, and labor).
